STATE CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION

Our professionals have work on construction estimating services with the electrical estimator, sitework estimator, and concrete estimator for State Correctional Institution – Mahanoy and deployed throughout the progress of the project.

The whole project included 19-building complex, 150 acres, and 1600 inmates that included a gymnasium, exercise zones, football and softball fields, running tracks, outdoor basketball court, and workshop.

The other main portfolio of the project included two libraries, vocational labs, classrooms, three cafeterias, chapel, health care facility, modern kitchen, laundry, visiting area, prison industries, warehouse, and superintendent’s residences.

The estimators hired at BUILDING CONNECTS  provided the entire estimation and lumber takeoffs, electrical takeoffs, sitework takeoffs on call and provided the insulation takeoffs for mechanical, plumbing, and fireproofing systems. The firestop shop drawings along with architectural, structural, civil, and electrical shop drawings were provided along the way.

Dedicated construction estimators were deployed for most of the projects in the pipeline in this whole portfolio of projects. The 150 acres were properly utilized as per plans so provided with takeoffs and estimates throughout the way. State correctional institutions included mechanical and electrical work along with masonry on exterior in the majority of the buildings.
